Ruby's First Trip to NC

I was so anxious to take Ruby to North Carolina to meet all her family!  We chose to wait until Spring Break, so Koen could go, too.  I didn't know how hard it would be to wait to share her with everyone!
She did great on the flight, slept most of the way there!
We make a full row now! John Thomas does much better on flights with his own TV so he can watch movies, and of course he had to be just like Bubba with his headphones!
Ruby got to meet her Great Grandparents for the first time!
 Four generations are pretty special!

My mom also had John Thomas a mini birthday party since they weren't able to celebrate with us this year after just being in town for two weeks when Ruby was born!
She ordered him a Minion cake, and he was excited!
He loves cake just as much as his mama!

We were also able to meet my best friend and college roommate, Abby and her little man for lunch and playdate!  Hard to believe we both have new babies!
Mr. Eli is SO handsome and sweet!
John Thomas enjoyed playing and the park and feeding the ducks while we visited and took care of the littles!

We tried desperately to get a picture of the them, but were not very successful!  By this point they were all tired and ready to nap.

John Thomas was a much better participant for photos!
Of course we had lots of time with Uncle Randy!  He came over everyday to snuggle and even took John Thomas to see the trucks at the fire department!
Aunt Allie and Nana took care of baths every night!  It was awesome!  We get really spoiled when we visit!  Aunt Allie gave little man some crazy hair and he thought it was pretty cool.
Nana also always makes big meals when we visit and this time was no different.  Pancakes from scratch were a big hit with the boys!

Papa got in lots of snuggles with Ruby and cow and creek time with the boys.  I wish I had a dollar for every time John Thomas asks to go see Papa's cows or Aunt Allie's bunnies.  He doesn't quite understand that we are 1,000 miles away and it breaks my heart to tell him we can't go every time he asks.

We had a really windy day, so Papa and Koen went to get kites.  They were both able to get them up for a while!

Kris and Koen went to the mountains to stay in my future brother in laws cabin and to ski, so the littles and I got in some extra Mimi and Pa time!

The night before we leave is always tough, but we enjoyed every minute with our family!  Lots of laughs and memories made, and rest for Kris and I!
