While we were in NC, my parents, sister and brother in law took the boys to Lazy 5 Ranch. Knowing how much John Thomas loves animals, they definitely picked the right spot!
Basically it is a drive through zoo, so they took Papa's truck and got in the back and rode through all the animals.
There is also a petting zoo area where you can buy feed for the "farm" type animals. Both Koen and John Thomas loved it!

Funny story about the camels: John Thomas came back and all he would talk about was how "Ugggeeee" (Ugly) the camels were and laugh and laugh! :)
They got to see some really neat animals while Kris and I stayed behind with Miss Ruby.
