How Far Along: 28 weeks (Heartbeat was 160)
Size of baby: An Eggplant! (Average size: 13.6 to 14.8 inches, 1.5-2.2 lbs)
Total Weight Gain/Loss: 6 lbs this month! (22 total) I blame it on the cupcakes.
Maternity Clothes: Absolutely! Anything that isn't maternity is super tight!
Gender: Sweet baby GIRL! Ruby Caroline
Movement: All the time! She likes to hang out on my right side and I can feel what might be a foot or elbow lots of times during the day.
What I miss: Sleeping through the night, although I better get ready for this one anyway!
Sleep: Sleep has gotten progressively worse. My back hurts me most at night, so it is difficult to get comfortable.
Symptoms: More tired than I remember being last time, and like I mentioned above, my back has started giving me quite a bit of trouble. I have also been having some numbness in my fingers, which is really weird!
Cravings: Almost anything! Of course, sweets are still a favorite.
Best Moment this week (month): My Dad and Sister coming into town and getting to shop with her for little baby girl stuff! Also, our Doctor agreed to set an induction date! We go in at 5:30 am on December 27! I hope to naturally go into labor before I get to the hospital, but if I don't, at least we know she will make her appearance sometime soon after December 27. Mainly for financial (insurance and tax) reasons we asked to be induced, it is the last thing I would do if we were not that close to the end of the year! Please pray my body cooperates and she is ready to meet us!
What we are looking forward to: Finally working on the nursery! I plan to get started on that very, very soon! I also have a couple of baby showers coming up that I am super excited about!!
